Howdy folks! Not much substance to be found around the S'nT in quite some time. I'd tell you that this post would change some of that but I'd be lying. Some of you may remember that I signed up for a marathon many months ago and that that marathon is in a few weeks. But darn it, I have to go on travel for work and won't make it. Was that too many thats in that other sentence? I'm tired of making promises to myself that I don't keep, so I won't make anymore here or elsewhere. I'm happy to report that I'm back in the turret now that fair weather has returned to my fair state. It's not a sweatbox anymore, but very comfortable. It is my favorite spot for writing and reading and once a year or so, painting. Happy Columbus Day! I almost forgot why I'm typing here so carefree on a Monday. What exactly does one celebrate on Columbus day anyway? I'd wikipedia it but I'm feeling lazy. Sometimes I miss the days before wikipedia, google, et cetera. It's too easy to feign knowledge today. It's also too easy to waste time! I think I want a kayak. What do you all think?
